Carver Water Heater - Drain Plug Seals

Do you have a Carver Water Heater fitted, if so you may find it useful to carry a couple of spare washers for the drain plug. Although we always fit new ones after every winter , they still manage to leak during a long stay in the hot sun.
If you don't have a spare washer try a couple of wraps of PTFE plumbing tape on the plug, this should work until you get home and can obtain a replacement washer.
We always carry a roll of PTFE tape in our toolbox, it's amazing what you can fix with it!
