The chateau has belonged to the Princes of Ligne since the 14th century.
The main building was burnt down in 1900 and rebuilt in 1902, adjacent parts of the building were not affected by the fire. The chateau now houses a museum of furniture, sculptures, porcelain, tapestries and a library of over 20,000 books. A 'Little Train' is on site to take you around the typically French style garden. |
